About Us
Jacqui Olsson (she/her)Registered Psychologist
With over 15 years of experience as a psychologist, Jacqui Olsson is passionate about supporting individuals across the lifespan to understand and embrace their unique neurobiology. Jacqui works with children, adolescents, and adults, drawing on a rich background that includes work as a school counsellor across Sydney’s western and northern suburbs, as well as extensive experience in private practice providing both counselling and psychological assessments.
Jacqui brings a deeply personal and professional understanding to her practice. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person and the parent of neurodivergent children, she is committed to helping clients discover the strengths of their own minds. She works from a neurodiversity-affirming lens, recognising that while brains may work differently, no difference makes someone “less than.”
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering—focusing on helping individuals understand how to care for themselves, advocate for their needs, and thrive in a world that often misunderstands difference. Jacqui supports clients in building self-awareness, self-compassion, and strategies that align with their own goals, needs, and values.
In her spare time, Jacqui enjoys watching her three children play sport, tending to her garden, and exploring all kinds of arts and crafts.

testimonials
- “I highly recommend Jacqui’s assessment services. Jacqui’s experience working with children and adolescents was evident during our assessment and both my son and I felt very comfortable with her. Jacqui is a skilled communicator who clearly explained her processes and results, and was happy to answer questions. She provided realistic recommendations which have proven very useful.”
- "My nine-year-old daughter saw Jacqui from All Kinds of Minds earlier this year for an assessment of her learning prior to a Paediatrician appointment. Jacqui has a calm and relaxed nature that really put my daughter at ease, she was so encouraged by Jacqui after the first visit she couldn't wait for the next. Jacqui provided great feedback to help my daughter understand her strengths as well as some recommendations for how we can help build her confidence at home and classroom with the areas of school work she finds challenging. The very through report Jacqui provided to the Paediatrician prior to our appointment really helped express the concerns we had with her learning. I would highly recommend Jacqui to any parent who had uncertainties or concerns regarding their child's learning."
- "We are incredibly grateful to Jacqui for the care, professionalism and insight she provided during the psychometric testing process for our 17-year-old daughter. We were seeking clarity and guidance around her learning needs and strategies to support her through Year 11 and 12.Jacqui created a warm and supportive environment that made our daughter feel comfortable and understood. The assessment process was explained clearly and handled with sensitivity. The final report was both thorough and accessible, offering valuable recommendations that helped us work more effectively with her school. Most importantly, our daughter walked away feeling seen, more confident in her abilities and equipped with useful strategies to apply to her studies. We highly recommend Jacqui's expertise and compassionate approach."
